ABOUT
Inspirado nos objetivos propostos pela Unesco por meio da cátedra de Future Literacy (Alfabetização de Futuros) o Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil 2024 se pauta justamente na capacidade humana de imaginar futuros.
Essa capacidade pode ser ampliada por meio da utilização de tecnologias de conexão e comunicação, aliadas à criatividade, sobretudo na busca por visões que potencializem a criação de estratégias de empoderamento individual e coletivo sem, para tanto, abrir mão das dimensões eco e bio emergentes. Nesse sentido, imaginar – e viabilizar – Cenários de Futuros Desejáveis atravessados pela pluralidade passa por (co)criar novos paradigmas de crescimento sócio econômico, viabilizando também caminhos para a diminuição das desigualdades sociais.
Originalmente idealizado e promovido pela Università di Bologna, por meio do Centro di Ricerca sulle Industrie Culturale e Creative (CRICC) e do Advanced Design Unit – University of Bologna -, e com objetivo de criar e expandir conexões entre academia e mercado, o evento terá sua primeira edição no Brasil, mais especificamente, na cidade de Porto Alegre.
A partir da relação estabelecida entre cinco instituições universitárias, com apoio do CNPq – Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico, o Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil irá ocorrer nos dias 17, 18 e 19 de junho.* As atividades serão presenciais e on line, e irão ocorrer simultaneamente na TecnoPuc e em dependências das outras instituições envolvidas – Università di Bologna (Itália); UNAL – Universidad Nacional de Colombia (CO); PUCRJ (BR) e UFCSPA (BR).
A programação do evento irá contar com diversas atividades, tanto com caráter acadêmico, como prático. No intuito de envolver também outros Hubs e Ecossistemas Criativos e de Inovação, muitas das atividades práticas serão realizadas nesses espaços.

Inspired by the goals proposed by UNESCO through the Future Literacy Chair, the Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil 2024 are based precisely on the human capacity to imagine futures.
This capacity can be expanded through the use of connection and communication technologies, combined with creativity, especially in the search for visions that enhance the creation of individual and collective empowerment strategies without relinquishing emerging eco and bio dimensions. In this sense, imagining – and making possible – Desirable Futures Scenarios crossed by plurality involves (co)creating new paradigms of socio-economic growth, also enabling paths to reduce social inequalities.
Originally conceived and promoted by Università di Bologna, through the Centro di Ricerca sulle Industrie Culturale e Creative (CRICC) and the Advanced Design Unit – University of Bologna -, aiming to create and expand connections between academia and the market, the event will have its first edition in Brazil, more specifically, in the city of Porto Alegre.
Based on the relationship established between five university institutions, with the support of CNPq – National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (Brazil), the Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil will take place on June 18, 19, and 20.* The activities will be both in-person and online, occurring simultaneously at TecnoPuc and at the facilities of the other institutions involved – Università di Bologna (Italy); UNAL – Universidad Nacional de Colombia (CO); PUCRJ (BR), and UFCSPA (BR).
The event program will feature various activities, both academic and practical. In order to also involve other Creative Hubs and Innovation Ecosystems, many of the practical activities will be held in these spaces.

O comitê científico e de organização do Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brasil, convida a comunidade de criativos do Brasil, da Colômbia, da Itália e de todos os países que fazem parte da Rede Latina Design as a Process para uma nova Chamada de Propostas. O objetivo geral desta chamada é o de convidar essa ampla comunidade a pensar ideias e projetos que possam servir de inspiração para a reconstrução da cidade de Porto Alegre e dos diferentes territórios que a compõem, que foram amplamente atingidos pelas enchentes do início de Maio deste ano. O cenário de destruição no qual não apenas Porto Alegre se encontra hoje, mas também todo o estado do Rio Grande do Sul, é o que inspira esse objetivo, sobretudo por estar alinhado às perspectivas já indicadas na Call for Abstracts, como:
- Princípios e teorias de integração ecológica de sistemas humanos e não humanos liderados pela criatividade como motor de transformação;
- Experimentações práticas que melhorem a capacidade humana de inovação;
- Cenários futuros baseados na vontade de descobrir e atualizar modelos alternativos de interação entre arte, ciência, tecnologias, design e comunicação em todas as dimensões da vida, interagindo com a sociedade.
Nesse sentido, essa nova chamada de propostas (re)direciona essas perspectivas para a constituição de uma conexão direta a lógicas de potencializar a transformação das diferentes dimensões que ocorrem, atravessam e performam na cidade de Porto Alegre e dos diferentes territórios que a compõem.
É a partir desses elementos e contexto que propomos esta nova chamada, especialmente por compreendermos que a criatividade é o ativo mais importante para (re)pensar e (re) projetar Futuros Preferíveis e Possíveis tanto para todo o território de Porto Alegre, como e/ou para os diferentes territórios afetados e que compõem a cidade – tais como, Ilhas, bairros que constituem o Quarto Distrito, Centro Histórico, Sarandi, dentre outros.
A partir dessa perspectiva, compreendemos a chamada como uma oportunidade para ressignificar as relações entre as diferentes vivências e sociabilidades possíveis nos diversos territórios e vivências, afetados de vários modos.Tendo por base o entendimento de que os territórios também são imaginários – e que o próprio imaginário é um território em si – abrimos essa chamada sob o título Re Design Lives & Territories.
Esta chamada de propostas é aberta sobretudo a contribuições que conectem ideias, descritas em um breve texto de até 1000 caracteres, e materializações gráficas das mesmas. Essas materializações podem ser em formato de sketchs, esquemas, infográficos, fluxogramas, dentre outros formatos de facilitação gráfica de ideias, conceitos, temas. A perspectiva dessas materializações é a de compreender a aplicabilidade de um conceito e/ou tema, que sintetize as ideias de Futuros Possíveis e Preferíveis concebidos pelo criativo e/ou grupo de criativos, seja para algum território específico da cidade e/ou para toda a cidade. O texto descritivo deverá ser escrito no espaço específico no formulário aberto para a chamada, acessível logo abaixo deste texto.
Neste mesmo formulário, é possível fazer o upload do arquivo com as contribuições gráficas, que compõem um único PDF de tamanho menor ou igual a 30 megabytes.
As contribuições enviadas serão analisadas e validadas pelo comitê científico do CCIDB. As propostas escolhidas serão listadas neste site para os proponentes se identificarem e, assim, poderem apresentar e debater suas contribuições em momento específico da programação do evento.

The Scientific and Organization Committee of the Cultural and Creative Industries Days Brazil, invites the community of creatives of Brazil, Colombia, Italy and all countries that are part of the Latin Network Design A processes for a new call of proposals. The overall objective of this call is to invite this broad community to think ideas and projects that can inspire the reconstruction of the city of Porto Alegre and the different territories that compose it, which were widely hit by the floods of early May this year . The scenario of destruction in which not only Porto Alegre is today, but also the entire state of Rio Grande do Sul, is what inspires this goal, especially because it is aligned with the perspectives already indicated in the Call for Abstracts, such as:
- Principles and theories of ecological integration of human and nonhuman systems led by creativity as a motor of transformation;
- Practical experiments that improve human ability to innovate;
- Future scenarios based on the desire to discover and update alternative models of interaction between art, science, technologies, design and communication in all dimensions of life, interacting with society.
In this sense, this new call of proposals (re) directs these perspectives to the constitution of a direct connection to logic to enhance the transformation of the different dimensions that occur, cross and perform in the city of Porto Alegre and the different territories that compose it.
It is from these elements and context that we propose this new call, especially because we understand that creativity is the most important asset to think and (re) project preferable and possible future for the entire territory of Porto Alegre, and/ or for the different affected territories that make up the city – such as islands, neighborhoods that constitute the fourth district, historic center, Sarandi, among others.
From this perspective, we understand the call as an opportunity to resignify the relationships between the different experiences and socialities possible in the various territories and experiences, affected in various ways. Based on the understanding that territories are also imaginary – and that themselves themselves Imaginary is a territory itself – we open this call under the title re design Lives & Territories.
This proposals call is open above all to contributions that connect ideas, described in a brief text of up to 1000 characters, and graphic materializations of them. These materializations can be in sketchs, schemes, infographics, flowcharts, among other formats of graphic facilitation of ideas, concepts, themes. The perspective of these materializations is to understand the applicability of a concept and/or theme, which synthesizes the ideas of possible and preferable futures conceived by the creative and/or creative group, either for some specific territory of the city and/or all city. The descriptive text should be written in the specific space on the open form for the call, accessible below this text.
In this same form, it is possible to upload the file with the graphic contributions, which make up a single PDF less than or equal to 30 megabytes.
The contributions sent will be analyzed and validated by the CCIDB Scientific Committee. The chosen proposals will be listed on this site for the proponents to identify themselves and thus be able to present and discuss their contributions at a specific time of the event programming.
